Nocturnal Breed was formed as a thrash metal side project of several well-known musicians of black metal in the spring of 1996 (founded by Destroyer "and" Ed Damnator).
From the outset, the group collaborates with the Dutch Label Hammerheart, where he wrote his first album Aggressor in October 1997. Aggressor was recorded at Gordon Studios in Oslo and with session members asthenia (guitar) and Rick
Helrayzerom (drums). Release tour started across Europe that autumn. In addition to the aggressor, was released on 10 vinyl entitled Rape of Europe 97.
A successful tour was promoting the group to begin not worked on material for the next full length album. In the meantime, Hammerheart Records released a mini album, Triumph of the Blasphemer, which contains
live tracks from the tour. Album No Retreat ... No Surrender was released in 1998.
To promote the new release, the group went for a second European tour, which would be a turning point in cooperation Hammerheart.
Three-month session at Gordon Studios led to the third full-length album, The Tools of the Trade, which was released in the U.S. Label Holycaust Records in late 2000.
In 2005, a Belgian label, Painkiller Records released The Remasters Boxed set sostoyashego all previous releases of the groups together on five discs.
New full-Fields Of Rot released on Deadringer Studios in 2007, sounds a bit different from previous works, what influenced the change of the band.[/spoiler]
